Pushing Forward in the Pandemic
Well, here we are diving headfirst into our fourth month living with our new corona virus-induced reality. I hope everyone is doing well, staying safe and healthy and as sane as possible during this very strange and unsettling time.
We have settled into our new hours, which we will probably stick with for a while unless the governor decides to shut us down again. There is still little walk-in traffic in Old Town, and very few tourists, so I still can’t justify being open seven days a week yet.
NEW BOOKS IN STOCK:
“Shadow Road: Where Shadows Find You” by Gloria Casale. Mystery/Thriller fiction. $18.99. Prequel to Casale’s first novel “Bioterror: The Essential Threat,” detailing how main character Anne Damiano became a spy. We have a very limited number of signed copies available.
“Secret Albuquerque: A Guide to the Weird, Wonderful, and Obscure” by Ashley Biggers. This really fun guidebook features many oddball locations and bits of trivia that most other books leave out. Highly recommended. Our copies should be in stock sometime next week, and we’ll attempt to get Ashley to sign all our copies. If you would like a personalized copy, let us know, and we’ll reserve one for you. Our book signing scheduled with Ashley for Saturday- July 11, 1-3 PM has been cancelled due to COVID -19 concerns. Instead we will have a recorded video interview with her, which will premier on our Facebook page at 6 PM MDT on July 11.
