Jim has been a familiar face in Old Town for forty-six years. Besides his capacity as a greeter and book salesman at the shop, he is probably best known for raising and lowering the five flags in Old Town plaza nearly every day. A Korean War veteran, Jim remains active in military, veterans and intelligence community affairs and charities. When it comes to books, Jim’s favorite subject is local and New Mexico history. This year Jim celebrated his 92nd birthday and shows no signs of slowing down.
